Brave new world Reflection
We had to read a book called Brave New world and we had annotate it on sticky note and there had to at least 8 sticky note per chapter. we had a couple of writing prompts and a couple of seminar. I was sick for exhibition that we had our seminar about happiness and I wanted say the most happiness is helping some give me longest happiness than riding specialized demo 7 on bunny rabbit trail. ( I built it ). Then we had do a happiness essay and art piece on what we thought what happiness is.
Art Of happiness Picture
My piece is a mountain biking sliding dirt into well barrow and black shadow of people are family and friends. The phone is for how we consume iPhone like crazy. The monster logo represents big corporation that we think being sponsor would make us happy. Troy lee design jersey and pants represents thing that make us happy for only a little a mount of time and Color of tiger represent my favorite animal and makes me happy.

REFLECTION
In the Model United Nation is us presenting a country and we have to act like the state and read on that state ideas on what ever conflict out there that need to fix.
My country was Libya and I like learning part of it because of ideas and just learning about how they think and how it there. This was my favorite part was learning on writing revolution’s and seeing how the United Nation does there problems in the world that need to be fixed. My favorite conflict was North Korea because that what I learned the most on. I like learning about how North Korea sent there own people to a place that they did know like libya to work and give up their money for their nuclear plan. What I also thought was interesting was that their people treat their ruler like a God and that he will bring peace and other great things.
My perspective on actual model United nation was just sitting there for two hours and going to read a speech that doesn't mean anything and it is just my perspective on Israeli and Palestine Conflict. To me that was more of a play of an Exhibition but I do think it a good thing to learn and it look a lot of my classmates were into it.
This project was fun but at same time very hard and a lot on writing and research.

Genetically Modified Death
Prologue
(Rex is a scientist working on making GM Foods. Rex is at the laboratory he is making GM foods and he gets the lab report stating that GM foods are highly toxic.)
Rex: (walks into his bosses office) We can’t continue making these foods we have to stop.
Lucas: (Leans back in his chair) We can’t stop making these foods. The profit we make off of these GMO’s is too big to quit on. If we don’t let the public or the FDA see the report, we’ll be in the clear.
Rex: (now slightly agitated) Meanwhile what happens to the people who eat these foods. No matter what we do the truth will come out and you will pay.
Lucas: (looks madly at Rex) The truth won’t come out unless you tell someone and I swear Rex, if you tell a soul you will get fired and you know that you need the money to support your family.
Rex (muttering): Fine, have it your way. (leaves the room)
Chorus (Rex’s conscience):
You know you can’t do this
you need to do the right thing
stop processing these
terrible foods people will eat
because if you don’t
your family will see
you’re a cheat and you lie right through your teeth
if you don’t tell them what is in the foods they eat
you won’t be as honest as can be
to maintain your image of being nice not mean
do what is right, and end this scheme
Scene one
(Rex is at home about to eat dinner with his family, his wife maria and his son Rex Jr. They are seated around the brand new iron wood dining table.)
Rex Jr.: (walks into the kitchen) How was work today dad?
Rex:(tiredly says) It was fine how was school?
Rex jr.: (quickly says) It was fine I failed a test but it wasn’t too important.
Maria Jackson: (disapprovingly says) It was a test, all tests are important you need to study with your father tonight.
Rex: (happily says) It will be fun, by does my company produce these foods?
Maria: Yup. I thought we could celebrate the big production tomorrow.
Rex (nervous): O-o-ka-y, um, I just remembered I need to make a call right now I have to go!
(Rex is hiding out in his office pacing back and forth)
Rex:(talking to himself) I should end this. These Genetically Modified foods are known to cause cancer, not to mention the side effects. No! I have to maintain this job, I need this job. I can’t go back to making minimum wage. No I can’t have this on my conscience. I’ll tell them it is the right thing to do, but after the production.
Scene three
(The next day…..Rex and his boss are at the food taste, in a small town called Tinkerville)
Rex’s Boss:(speaking to the crowd) I would like to thank you all for coming have a good time enjoy the food.
Rex:(whispers to his boss) Are you really going to let them eat that?
Rex’s Boss:(madly whispers) Rex I think you should keep your mouth shut before I do something I will regret.
Chorus:
Rex oh Rex why would you do this
Will you let this people eat this
You know in your heart
The things that it has done
All the tests that came in said to not eat it
You know what to do
The question is when will you start to do the right thing.
Rex:(madly back) Boss if you don’t do something to stop this then I will.
Rex’s Boss:(lyingly says) Fine Rex I will.(His boss does nothing)
Scene five
(Rex is in the execution room after been proven guilty for death of people in the community due to the foods his company produced. His family died in a fire caused by riots against his company.)
Chorus:
you did the crime now you must do your time
the judge found you guilty
and rightfully so
you sold illegal GMOs
Executioner(sternly says) Any last words.
Rex:(slowly says) I would like to say, I deserve what I get. I am going to die and that is fine. I just hope that everyone else who was responsible is punished as well. Now let me feel peace.
(The executioner delivers the final blow, Rex Jackson is no more)

THE END
One thing we did well on the greek tragedy project was how we basically changed our project over a weekend. I also think our scrip was pretty good to me.
The thing that I would tell kids going to do it next time is figure out a plan that would work than trying to do work that be graded and ask for help when needed make sure you you do the work your group assigned to you. Don’t get sick.
Working with Partner was fun but it was a little easy to get off task and it can make it harder to get started but when you get done and it feel like you can run in circles with excitement.
The most challegest park was just getting a full pack of work done. It was also just hard being sick and trying to do work.

What are you most proud of about your mask? why?
What are you most proud of about your mask? Why? I am proud of it and I am also disappointed with the mask too. First of all I am proud of the shape of the mask. I am also proud of the green that on the mask. I think the color goes very well. I also think the road was very neat how my painting skills are. I am also proud of how it went with race and how I made it go with mountain biking. I am proud of it and I am not. It depends how I look at it and I am also considering after this project is throw it away.
Quote: Quote the selection of your essay that you are most proud of and describe, in detail, why are you proud of it?
My quote is mainly off a video that I watched off white privilege and it talked how it’s just how we look at African American and how white look at blacks suspiciously. I am not proud of it because I think we were post to make a quote from article. I learned a lot from this video.
Biggest take away: What will you remember from this project? Why?
My biggest take away from this project was the learning and taking note and watch videos about socialized and society. I took away that my writing is not greatest and it needs work. I also learned how to plaster. I will always remember the video about society.
Habits of Heart and Mind: Which habit of heart mind do you need to work on in your next project to get better at project base learning? Why do you need to improve and how that heart and mind will help you?
The habits of heart and mind that I’ll use in the next project is periverents because I need charge this projects and I need to just bring these hearts and mind to table when we have projects.

RACE IN SOICALIZATION AND MEDIA ALEC E. 10/7/13
We are socialized every day, what we will do next. Also our values is to find what important in life to you as a person. Then there norms that you have to follow and there folkways that are not strictly enforced. Agents are is one who acts for, or in the place of, another by authority from him; one entrusted with the business of another. Race, the differences in people in their skin color, their culture. Racism is how we view and put to hate or preference against their skin color or culture. It is a negative attitude that we put against them. I am socialized to believe that I belong to the superior race and to expect in movies and shows to see the good guy being white, and see the white guy win.
We are all socialized by media in the U.S. We see how there are separated the cool, the bad and the pretty. Black man ski and A Girl Like Me are videos that show how different races feel. In Black Man Ski, He goes to Aspen for a trip and he notices how there not a lot of different races on the Ski Mountain. He sings about how he doesn’t belong, and he talks about what racism is. He also talks about how white people adopted their music and their style. On the video A Girl Like Me, it shows African American girls who talk about how they think their appearance is not the same as a white women appearance. They did a test with young African American kids and black and white colored dolls. They put a white doll and a black doll on a table. They ask what doll they would rather play with. The end statement was that 15 out of 21 would rather play with the white doll. This is obviously showing that these kids are socialized to believe that whites are the more desirable race. To me this is telling me even different races think that they think white are the superior race. This is socialized me by thinking by thinking that the white do think there race is superior.
When we watch the TV, we see the racism is put on the screen in the Disney films like The Lion King and Lady And The Tramp and Dumbo. In The Lion King the hyenas are portrayed as young inner city blacks. In The Lady and the Tramp, it is the Chihuahua portrayed as a Latino fool who could never get the high class white girl. In Dumbo it the crows who portray southern black men as fools. All of these films, I watched as a young child. I never knew how it had an impact on me. I just realized how it can affect a young child’s mind on how they view other races. In the video, it was saying how these film can have a negative impact on kids. Now I can see how even adult films can take effect on people minds. I have been socialized that as a young child to think that that how different races act and even to view them. But as for know am socialized to not act that way and
White pilviges are just how we think we can things and sometimes we can. Its how we can take blacks and native American music and there style. I think white piliviges are just how white think they can boss and take thing from all these different races. From watching YouTube CNN on white privige is that black men look subspecies and white man do not. I think white privilege is that we base different races off.I also think how we do fear and some who loolk subspecial.
Views of race and racism are shaped by the media and other people’s viewpoints. This can be or bad. How can I as an individual break the harmful cycles of socialization? I can see how not allowing the media stereo type. I can start conversation with different race. I can also teach these ideas to family and friends.
Mask
My mask is based on race and trail riding on a mountain bike. I am putting a trail right through the center of the mask because that is my main hobby. This is my mask that I have to put on every day. It a view point of a race in my eyes. The trail on the mask has roots and rocks. The reason for the rocks and the roots, is that they are objects that you have to avoid and they are things that you have deal with as you race and select different lines that you can do. The same with life and seeing how I see race. The root show how I view the Disney movie classics. They have stumble after but or slow very and What I mean by that is, that life is a race to me and its history is the tracks I leave. I also put berms where racism is decreasing and getting treated fair is increasing because on a mountain bike berms increase your speed around the corners. The black eye is showing that I do not have the best eye sight and show we don’t see racism as mush but it is still in our days. The black trail is about how I dislike riding on road and I do not like racism.
